The Citizens United Supreme Court decision granted companies almost unlimited power to influence Congressional and Presidential candidates with unaccountable and undocumented campaign money.
This is unconstitutional because:
1) The SC did not follow precedence of past decision with this ruling.
2) The SC unjustly used its power to legislate from the bench, as documented by SC Justice William O. Douglas.
3) This ruling is making congress open to bribes. Tax exemptions and favors have been passed along to these companies in return.
Also, 2 SC members should have recused themselves from this case because of a conflict of interest. Both visited the Coke Brother's Freedom Works Org. function for 3 days within the pervious year. The Coke brothers are the biggest benefactors of CitizensU.
