Repeal Colorado Magazine Restriction House Bill 13-1224

Created by C.L. on March 14, 2014

House Bill 13-1224 in the state of Colorado restricts magazines in firearms to 15 rounds. In rural areas of Colorado police can be up to 30 minutes away from one's home, in order for one to protect their home in the event that police cannot arrive on time one should be allowed to at least own the same standard capacity 30 round magazines that police are allowed to own for their AR-15 rifles. This bill is in direct violation of the 2nd Amendment, it infringes the people's right to defend against hostile opposition foreign or domestic by taking away ammunition capacity, while criminals and other threats can still harm people with illegally obtained firearms and illegal high capacity magazines. "The right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."
