The war on drugs is a crime against humanity. It is diametrically opposed to our efforts against crime. It has the exact opposite effect on society than was origiinally intended. We now have more people in prison than any other nation on earth. Mexico is about to become a failed state, and drug cartels are crossing our boarders and kidnapping our citizens. Our local police forces have become militarized and have been turned against our citizens. As adults over 21 years of age we should be able to legally purchase whatever drugs we require to treat whatever ailments we have. There will always be irresponsible people who abuse drugs, but it is unfair to punish everyone when most people are responsible. Please stop this madness before it destroys our country.
