These veterans sacrificed for our nation – Don’t punish them!
They risked their LIVES for our nation, many suffering disabilities for the rest of their lives.
They ALL sacrificed normal family life, often away from home in remote areas. Many missed seeing their children walk or talk for the 1st time. Many suffered through divorce and depression.
They ALL gave their prime earning years serving YOU instead of going to college or going after higher-paying jobs.
If extending unemployment can benefit the economy, then so can restoring COLA to veterans.
If welfare is maintained with NO cuts, then how can we punish OUR veterans?
