Repeal Daylight Savings Time

Created by M.L. on March 10, 2013

Allow Congress to act for the good of our nation by repealing the Daylight Savings Act of 1918. Studies by Chronobiologists show it does not save money, energy, or time and has a multitude of adverse effects on our economy and individual health. Each spring, Daylight Savings Time gives rise to increased risks for heart attacks, lower production at work, more accidents, increases in cases of depression, lower milk production at dairy farms, and much more. Arizona, Hawaii, parts of Indiana already do not participate in DST and many nations have abandoned this practice as well. It is time we follow suit and allow daylight to take its course naturally.
