Repeal the Defense of Marriage Act and move toward full legalization of marriage between any two consenting adults.

Don't Ask, Don't Tell is ended, and many Americans are grateful for this. Discrimination, however, remains encoded in our legal system: even with the end of DADT, LGB people in the military cannot receive spousal benefits, and millions of Americans cannot marry the person they love and receive any of the federal rights and privileges designed to make life easier for two people who share their lives with one another, subjecting them to real economic harm. The Defense of Marriage Act represents a gross violation of the Tenth and Fourteenth Amendments, and we demand that the White House take action toward repealing it. We then demand a concrete plan of action from the President that ends in the extension of full marriage rights to any two consenting adults, regardless of sex or gender.
