The act limits the height of buildings to 110ft (1889) amended in 1910, so that a building facing a 130-foot (40 m)-wide street could be 150 feet (46 m) tall.
It would be best to amended this to allow taller building, or done away with completely. The metro area is getting to cramped to live with this centuries old law, that helps no one and It would give dc a chance to improve itself.
