Repeal the Drinking Age Act of 1984

Created by P.S. on November 06, 2013

The Drinking Age Act of 1984 forces states to submit to a drinking age that is both nonsensical and arbitrary. 82% of college age students between 18-21 consume alcohol, despite being considered "underage." Lowering the drinking age would benefit everyone, reduce illegal consumption, and reduce binge drinking, as young people wouldn't feel the need to drink all they can get their hands on during the rare occasions they have access to alcohol.
