We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Repeal the Electoral College

Created by D.B. on November 09, 2016

For the fourth time in our nation's history, and at a 7% failure rate, the highest office in the land has been handed to a candidate that has failed to be popularly elected. Ironically, this candidate represents a grassroots discontent with the political establishment and its undemocratic nature. Although there is much to be done to fix American democracy, starting by repealing an undemocratic institution is a good start. The president ought to be popularly elected.
