We the people of the United States of America do hereby petition the government to allow for the election of the President of the United States of America solely by popular vote and to immediately repeal the electoral college. With computers and technology being at the level it is at, it is unnecessary for the United States to have an electoral college. Many people refuse to vote since they believe their votes will not matter as the electoral college votes with the major cities and not the majority of a state.
