Repeal the Electoral College Vote, and allow the popular vote of Americans to be the only vote counted.

Created by M.H. on November 12, 2012

The electoral vote is not a good source of equal representation for the states. The "battleground" states are the only ones campaigned in, and states such as Hawaii, Florida, don't matter. Because by the time the electoral college vote has reached 270, the presidential candidate has already won, making their vote not matter. The electoral college was originally put in place for the fear of uneducated people voting without proper knowledge of the candidates. America is educated enough to know who will lead their country in the right path.
