repeal the Employer Mandate of the ACA.

Created by B.H. on August 07, 2014

The Affordable Care Act has its faults, but the intention is good. Increasing healthcare coverage among Americans will lower costs through allowing more people to pay for coverage and reducing the need for hospitals to charge those with insurance to cover those who are without it.

However, the Employer Mandate is intended to make sure that employers (with more than 50 employees) are providing health insurance to any employee who works more than 30 hours each week. Many employers are simply cutting hours so they can get around the law, thereby reducing the paychecks of hardworking Americans and creating a need for those employees to have a second job in an already tight job market.

Mr. President, repeal the Employer Mandate and allow us to work.
