Repeal the establishment clause and redefine religious freedom to suit the modern age and a diverse America.

The separation of church and state is not directly expressed in the constitution, yet if is one of America's most strictly enforced clauses. Both the church and the state violate the establishment clause while everyday Americans fall victim to its great double standard. For example, the Supreme Court opens its sessions with a prayer, yet strikes down on student led prayers in a public school. Or that Congress uses public funds to pay for its chaplains. The establishment clause was written over 200 years ago and does not take into account religion in our modern world. The only way for Americans to truly practice religious freedom is to end the separation of church and state by ratifying an amendment to revoke Thomas Jefferson's "wall of separation" and redefine religious freedom.
