Please repeal the Estate Tax to a $2 million exemption and 45% Estate Tax rate per individual and $4 million per couple as recommended by Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, Jimmy Carter and others. The upcoming Estate Tax exemption of $1 million would have ill effects upon the middle class. The 55% tax rate above the $1 million exemption could have devastating effects to the middle class upon the death of a loved one. Those effects include paying Capital Gains on the sale of investments and real property to pay the 55% tax. Please raise the Estate Tax exemption.
