Repeal the Federal minimum wage law.

Created by R.F. on December 05, 2012

Having a Federal minimum wage is unnecessary and harmful to both individuals and small businesses. There is no need for it and it should be repealed. The reasons are thus:
The United States are diverse. There is no one minimum wage that can cover every state effectively. Each State has the ability to set up a minimum wage law if the people of that state feel it is necessary and needed. Most States have their own already. It is a State issue and should be handled at the State level.
The wages that an individual is paid is an agreement between that individual and their employer. In a capitalist economy, wages and prices are determined by the market. There is no need for the Federal Government to intervene in this relationship.
