Repeal the Federal Reserve Act of 1913

Created by R.V. on January 28, 2013

The Federal Reserve Act was passed on December 23,1913 in order to create a centralized bank in hopes of stabilizing the economy after several panics including that one of 1906. The fear of western farmers that this system would give power to those banks in wall street became a reality. Actually the fedral reserve is a private institution that lends money to the goverment with interest. Even though it was created by law the endorsement of this Act came from Bankers like J.P Morgan, Wells Fargo etc. This system obviously did not work as in the years to follow came along the Great Depression.Yet who had control of our economy during this time in America was the reserve as it is still today. They control the input and output of our currency which should be in the hands of our treasury not bank
