The Federal Reserve Act, signed into law by President Wilson just prior to Christmas Day, 1913, has usurped the constitutionally delegated powers of the Congress to regulate money to a private central bank of the United States, contributing to the economic woes of not only today but to recessions of past as well, including the Great Depression. This bank and its board members work largely in secrecy, explaining little of its operations to the public. We are not satisfied that its only plan is continued inflation, continued devaluation of the dollar (which has lost over 90% of its value within the last 100 years) and thus, higher prices of necessities, the theft of savings, and ultimately, more debt and crises. Fix this issue properly, by ending the Fed and returning to a gold standard.
