Repeal the Firearm Owners Protection Act of 1986 (FOPA) Make post-86 Title II "machineguns" transferrable under the NFA

Created by B.S. on January 19, 2013

We are Combat Veterans, Veterans, and Law Abiding Citizens interested in reasonable prices for Title II weapons, via the repealing of the FOPA of 1986.

This Act contains regulations prohibiting the ownership/transfer of "machineguns" that were manufactured after 1986.... but you can still own those manufactured prior........ what sense does this make??

It makes NO logical sense.

These weapons are already restricted under the National Firearms Act. The Firearm Owners Protection Act isn't "protecting" anyone. It's further restricting our 2nd Amendment Rights.

We'd like to see this ridiculous restriction lifted, and in doing so, create more jobs in the firearms industry, as well as bring prices WAY down, back down to prices equal to that of the semi-automatic versions of these weapons.
