Obama is giving the federal government the power to force you to buy private goods and services. Now that this door has been opened, what else will we be forced to buy in the future? It is another step away from individual liberty and another step toward a socialist government that controls our lives from the cradle to the grave. It imposes more than 20 new taxes on the American people. It is going to impose paperwork burdens on doctors, hospitals and the rest of the healthcare system and as a result it is going to significantly increase our healthcare costs as a nation. It is going to make the doctor shortage in America a lot worse. Dozens of doctor owned hospitals have been closed as a result of it. Obamacare is going to result in a much bigger federal government.
