repeal the Gun Free School Zones Act of 1990. It has been ineffective since its inception, and only endangers children.

Fact: There have been over 60 school shootings at elementary, middle, and high schools since 1990.
Obviously people who are intent on murdering children aren't going to worry about harsh penalties for carrying a firearm into a school, especially when they're planning on committing multiple felonies. It's clear that this Act is doing nothing to protect children, and may actually be enabling crime.
Repealing this Act is an important first step we can take in order to protect our brothers, sisters, and children.
