Repeal the Gun-Free School Zones Act of 1990

In light of recent mass shootings, and the widespread debate of Gun Control, it has come to attention that all of these shootings have occurred in 'Gun Free Zones'. These designated areas, while well intended, only affect law abiding citizens who become targets for potential criminals who would wish harm on innocent individuals, painting a giant target on the backs of students by saying they are free to be victimized. The repeal of this Law, backed by sensible oversight of the respective Boards of Educations in communities ensure that students and faculties will have the necessary means to defend themselves against potential criminals against violence, assault, harassment and rape. This also cuts the response time to several seconds instead of waiting defenselessly for law enforcement
