Repeal the Gun Free Schools Zone Act as the unintended consequences of this legislation has only turned our school campuses into an ideal killing ground for lunatics and the criminally insane. In its place enact legislation that would require school administrators and teachers to be trained in firearms and self-defense. Its clear that criminals don't respect the 'Gun Free Zone' and if even a minority of school teachers and administrators were armed, (as they are in other countries) then slaughters like this could be prevented, or at least minimized. As persons of authority in our communities they should be able to stand ready to protect our children.
