In recent months, the department of health and human services has required faith based organizions to provide abortions to their workers through the workers health insurance. Many faith based groups find it to be moraly wrong to provide an abortion to anyone, and that this mandate would force these groups to violate what they see as moral law. What is more problematic, however is that the government, in this case the department of health and human services is interfering in the faith of faith based organizations. They are saying that they do not care about what we believe, but rather that because we are the government we can do what we want to whom want anytime we want. We need to protect our fundemental right of freedom of faith.
