repeal the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010.

This petition is for the hungry students of the USA. The new lunch program is leaving children hungry and costing schools that are already struggling, money that they do not have. Many students across America only receive school lunch as their main means of sustenance. Since the new regulations have taken affect, many of these children are going hungry. The smaller portions do not take into account the activities of the students. After school activities, like sports, require more calorie intake. Schools are losing money because more kids are packing and more food is thrown out. The kids that don't have food to pack are going hungry.If you don't want kids to starve, do away with this nonsense. Let schools go back to their original lunches without penalty.
