Repeal the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010. This act is unconstitutional and does not work.

Created by I.O. on November 13, 2012

The Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act was a nice gesture, but an unconstitutional one. It is not up to the government to tell parents what to feed their kids. Also, school lunches were healthy enough, with barely enough calories for a meal. Now the amount of calories is barely sufficient to get students through the day. In addition, parents who could barely afford lunch for their kids, parents who make only a few dollars over the cutoff for free and reduced lunch, find it difficult to afford food for their kids now that the price has gone up. Furthermore, we simply do not like what is being offered. What our schools can afford is not really resembling food these days. Finally, the school lunch is the majority of the calories some kids get in a day. Your 'solution' is not the answer.
