We the American people feel that the Anti protest bill is an infringement of our 1st Amendment right to freedom of speech which states that “Congress shall make no law . . . abridging the freedom of speech . . . or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” We feel that making protests illegal and a felony offense punishable by fees and/or jail time is a violation of that right. Please repeal this bill and preserve our right to protest.
