In 2006 the Congress passed H.R. 6407 (109th): Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act restructuring the agency. One of the requirements is to prefund prepay retirement funds USPS future retiree health benefits.
The U.S. Postal Service serves a vital service to the U.S., especially in rural areas of the country. This bill needs to be repealed either in its entirety or those parts that put undue fiscal requirements.
