Repeal The Hughes Amendment (ban on automatic weapons)

The Hughes amendment is an unconstitutional ban on automatic weapons. The second Amendment guarantees the right to bear arms; so why are some banned? A fire arm made before or in 1986 is no more dangerous than an automatic firearm made today. The Hughes amendment also causes the prices of automatic fire arms to skyrocket by the 1000s making them unavailable for many collectors. There are even more reason's why they should be legalized; for instance it is a proven fact that more guns equals less crime. So if more guns are aloud then there will be less crime. Even if people think legalizing them will cause more crime it won't; it won't cause more because any criminal could illegally get one now.
