repeal the Hughe's amendment banning the sale, purchase, and private ownership of "fully automatic" firearms

Created by C.W. on December 24, 2011

The Hughes amendment was passed through a bill called Firearm Owners Protection Act. The act that was to be enforced was generally good for gun owners/ enthusiests. The Hughes amendment is unconstitutional and is violating the rights of the American people. Repealing the law would be very good for both the people and the government in the fact that the $200 tax stamps required for purchase of NFA firearms increase revenue for the federal government and would increase 10 fold due to more availability for fully automatic firearms and more consumer friendly prices.
