The Hughes amendment seriously infringes on a law passed to protect firearm owners. The controversy over the amendment has been around since it was added as it is believed hat it was added in violation of the vote on it addition to the Firearm Protection Act. It effectively prevents the average citizen from being able to Purchase a class of weapons by making it illegal to purchase ones not on the registration as off the threshold date date. That day in may we the people had restricted one of our treasured rights. Allow us to regain them.
