We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Repeal the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 and reinstate the Naturalization Act of 1790

Created by J.T. on July 28, 2016

When our founding fathers established this nation, they stated in the Naturalization Act of 1790 that any candidate for citizenship be a "free white person of good character". In 1965, this act was drastically changed with the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965. When this act was being debated, the 89th congress promised the American people that this would not lead to a drastic shift in the demographics of this country. Now in 2016, the original group our founding fathers intended this country to be for, white Europeans, are set to become a minority in their own country by 2030. This has already led to massive racial divisions, animosity between groups, and could easily result in secession and civil war. We call on congress to hear our claim.
