Legalizing Illegal immigrants causes more illegal immigration.
(Look what has happened since we allowed it in 1996) They have filed tax returns claiming dependents who have never been in this country and the IRS & Congress are turning their heads. The burden of these billions of dollars is a detriment to the American taxpayers and their offspring for years to come. IRS has decided to NOT collect it. Legal immigrants had to go through a tedious process (which can be reviewed) to become LEGAL immigrants and/or American citizens. Legal immigrants still have to pay more than $700 a year to update their immigration status every 10 years (even if they were children when they arrived and have permanent resident status). This law is not according to our Constitution and Americans are insulted.
