The state tax on i-405, which is supposed to be used to develop a 3-lane HOV system, taxing the people up to $10 for driving in toll lanes, is simply a money grab by the elected officials in Washington state.
Problems with the law:

- The state is simply trying to move toward tolling existing roads without making any significant infrastructure improvement.
- It's simply a money grab by the state that will collapse the usability of the highway by the everyday citizens.
- The state is implementing the toll system utilizing a company from Texas, we have the best of the best technologists in Washington, and the lions share (Up to 70%! will be going to an outside company in Texas, through a back-channel deal made by our politicians, no less)
