The Citizens of the United States request that the articles found in NDAA2012 that allow for Indefinite Detention of all U.S. Citizens by the government or the military ( 1021 & 1022 ) be repealed and a Constitutional Amendment ratified that prevents the creation and/or re-introduction of Indefinite Detention, or any similar law, by any branch of the United States government or U.S. military ever again.
This new Constitutional Amendment should also include mandatory incarceration in a Maximum Security Federal Prison of a sentence no less than 75 years to be imposed upon any elected government official or military officer who attempts to re-introduce Indefinite Detention of U.S. Citizens, in any form or in any manner. This is to include the President of the United States.
