Repeal the job-killing FDA regulation that requires supermarkets to publish nutritional information for unpackaged food

This petition is asking President Obama to repeal the FDA regulation that requires supermarkets and convenience stores to publish nutritional information for food that is not packaged. Plain and simple, the FDA did not do its homework when crafting this costly, job-killing regulation. This regulation will increase operating costs for supermarkets that already have minimal profit margins, leading to layoffs and price increases. Our fragile, recovering economy cannot afford the negative consequences of this classic example of unnecessary bureaucratic red tape. It needs to go now!
