Jus soli is the right of anyone born in the United States to become a citizen regardless of nationality of parents or legal status in the United States. This means illegal aliens can give birth to a legal citizen or even someone on vacation from another country can give birth to an American Citizen.
We need to close the loophole to our country. Among advanced economies (as defined by the International Monetary Fund), only Canada and the United States provide this type of citizenship.
