The use of ethanol fuel in marine applications is destroying our vessels. Marine engines & fuel systems weren’t designed to run on ethanol fuel & the additive is causing boats to break down at sea. Ethanol leads to the deterioration of fuel lines & leading to dangerous situations. Fuel lines become compromised leading to explosions or the discharge of fuel into the water. Ethanol leads to costly repairs of failed fuel lines & pumps. Fuel delivered to USCG Cape May NJ specifically requires NO ETHANOL in the fuel. If ethanol isn’t good enough for the Coast Guard to run, why are we, as consumers being forced to use this destructive additive in our vessels? I would like the use of ethanol in marine fuel be repealed and its use be considered illegal.
