Marijauna is substance . But unlike cocaine and opium it is not a life ruining narcotic numerous independent studies have shown that marijuana makes a great medicine for nausea , severe pain, insomnia, depression etc . But I feel that it should be decriminalized because quite frankly its safer and less harmful than alcohol . It would cripple latin American drug cartels . Add jobs to the economy make hemp available to be converted into ethanol . Our society is mature enough to be able to handle a substance being sold in stores that is already readily available in most any city in all fifty states in every territory and the one district of the united states . Come on Obama White House lets stop taking poor college students financial aid away because there getting caught with marijuana .
