The legislation passing Obamacare resulted in a tax on revenue for all medical devices even for start up companies that are not profitable. The result is that companies that are working to provide Americans with innovative therapies that can aid us across numerous illnesses are incurring higher expenses that is hampering their ability to perform necessary research. As such, Americans have a higher risk of not being able to access these potentially life saving devices. On top of that, for the companies that are already profitable, their cost of doing business in the United States is now higher, which is driving the cost of healthcare up. By simply repealing this tax, President Obama and our Congress will not only strengthen our economy, but also help to lower the our healthcare costs.
