Repeal Minimum Drinking Age Act

Created by A.M. on May 02, 2013

July 17th, 1984 Congress passed the Minimum Drinking Age Act. This law prohibits anyone under the age of 21 from buying, selling, possessing, or consuming alcohol. This law has not fufilled its original purpose. Young people need a safe place to learn responsible alcohol use; not in a college dorm surrounded by 30 other college students. With a repeal of this law the drinking age will be lowered to 18 once again, and young adults can learn responsible alcohol use under supervision of college administrators, parents, or other responsible alcohol users.
