The Farmer Assurance Provision act or "Monsanto Protection Act", signed in with spending bill HR 933, allows GMO's to sell their products to the American public without fear of judicial repercussion, regardless of any negative health issues caused. It was joint written by Monsanto, Sen. Roy Blunt, and Sen. Barbara Mikulski and signed into law by President Obama Tuesday while the people's attention was on the DOMA debate despite strong protests. Many members of Congress maintain having no knowledge of the provision being within the legislation. This provision is an attack on the American agricultural system and should be considered a crime against the people of our nation. Please push to repeal this act of injustice.
