Repeal the "Monsanto Protection Act"

Created by N.S. on May 15, 2013

Section 735 of the "Consolidated and Further Continuing Appropriations Act, 2013" or commonly known as the "Monsanto Protection Act".

The specific provision (sec. 735) in this new law was included anonymously by a publicly elected official. This method of 'hiding' new legislature in larger, more popular laws only serves to protect politicians from being held accountable for their actions.

Monsanto spent 100,000 dollars lobbying for this specific provision, and 4.7 million on the bill in total. When a large corporation can spend this much money to protect their profits, but the politician they lobbied is anonymous, the people of this country are cheated.

This law should be repealed until the government can pass it in a clear and transparent manor.
