Repeal the Monsanto Protection Act.

Created by B.L. on May 15, 2013

The Monsanto Protection Act allows the Monsanto company to be protected from judicial review. This is just another case of the biotech/agriculture giant throwing its weight around in places that it should not have any say. This provision was tacked on needlessly to the emergency budget extension that will keep government operating. As this functions, the company will be able to continue its planting and growing of genetically modified crops even in the face of a court of law telling them that they cannot. It is essentially a "get out of jail free card" for this company and looking at the uncertainty surrounding such products (on top of the absurdity of a law that PREVENTS the government from being able to enforce its own rulings) is absurd.
