This bill has the potential to further discourage and even criminalize dissent and investigative journalism in the United States, and can be used in unconstitutional manners to eliminate Americans free speech and a fair trial.
Another disturbing aspect of the NDAA is that it grants the government authority to arrest and imprison anybody even suspected of 'terrorism'. Under the NDAA this term can be widely interpreted and will likely be abused.
Lastly, the NDAA facilitates the ability for the government to disperse all dissent and protests in the US, which are vital for the survival of free speech, change, and democracy.
