The National Defense Authorization Act allows the government to detain American citizens in military prisons for indefinite amounts of time without a reason other than suspicion of terrorism. Furthermore, American citizens are denied the right for trial and a defense. The Act also strip Americans of their citizenship.
Another part allows U.S. soil to be permitted for war. Therefore, tanks could roll threw your neighborhood to take out any 'threat'. In addition, the Act allows American Citizens to be assassinated on U.S. soil if thought to be a 'threat'. Sadly, what fall into the 'threat' category is extremely vague in the Act allowing anyone to be taken away forever for no reason other than suspicion.
