Repeal The National Firearms Act.

We request the Obama administration repeal the NFA. The NFA creates arbitrary regulations on firearms like barrel length, overall length, fire mode, and caliber. Not a single one of those things make great enough of a difference to warrant passing a bill over. You can have a 16 inch barrel on a rifle and only an 18 inch barrel on a shotgun. You can buy an AR 15 'pistol' with a 10.5 inch barrel and put on an 'arm brace' that looks, functions, and is always used as a stock but you get an AR 15 'rifle' with a 10.5 inch barrel without paying a tax and you are committing a felony. The purpose of the NFA is to create silly and pointless laws which ban things that sound scary rather than consider the real functional differences. The National Firearms Act is a tax grab made by thieves.
