Repeal the National Minimum Drinking Age Act of 1984 and allow states to lower their drinking age.

Since 1984 the federal government has threatened the states with the loss of federal highway funding if they do not comply with and raise their minimum drinking age to 21 years of age. It is time to repeal this piece of legislation and allow the states to decide their own alcohol consumption laws as guaranteed under the 21st amendment free of federal interference.
