repeal the National minimum Drinking Age Act of 1984 as being in ineffective and unethical.

The national minimum drinking age act infringes upon the right of the states to set their own laws with regards to the purchase of alcoholic beverages as guaranteed by the 21st amendment. The act withholds 10% of a states federal highway funding if they do not comply. The law also infringes upon the rights of US citizens between the ages of 18-20. This group is being suppressed of a right afforded to US citizens to purchase and consume alcoholic beverages again guaranteed by the repealing of the 18th amendment by the 21st amendment. Experience has also shown the law to be ineffective and damaging by creating a culture of dangerous underage binge-drinking. Studies have shown It has not been effective in controlling anything it set out to control. The states should set their own drinking age
