Repeal the National Minimum Drinking Age Act and allow states to lower drinking age to 18.

At 18 someone can be charged as an adult, buy their way to lung cancer, and be drafted into the military, but they can't buy a drink. They can't go to a club or even a dine-in movie if the establishment sells alcohol. They're too young. But suddenly, at 21, that person has become incredibly mature and can drink. The problem is many 21-year-olds aren't. There are so many 18-year-olds that are much more mature than many 21-year-olds (and for that matter 30-year-olds), but can't drink due to state laws that are influenced by the Minimum Drinking Age Act. At least, 18-year-olds can vote to change this. Let the government tax alcohol to death and businesses profit. But at least allow our so-called "adults" be adults.
