Repeal the National Minimum Drinking Age Act and lower the drink age to 18. Educate children about drinking.

Created by K.D. on January 28, 2013

The National Minimum Drinking Age Act has been proven to be a flawed. Statistics have proven that underage young adults will drink to the excess regardless of the law. Multiple studies have shown that the raised drink age has increase the number of DUI's, binge drinking episodes and fatal motor vehicle crashes. Some organizations only seeks to lower these numbers by increasing taxes and creating stricter laws. The only way to actually get all of these numbers to decrease is to educate, and the best education is through a learning experience. If young adults are given the opportunity to make responsible decisions like voting or fighting for their country then a couple of drinks shouldn't be out of the question.
